Human trafficking Awareness

Let's bring awareness to a huge issue in our area and that's Human Trafficking.

Here are some helpful tips for keeping your children safe:

1). Know where your kids are at all times.

2). Know what your kids are doing online and teach them about internet safety.

3)  Place any computer your younger child uses in a common area, so you can monitor what is happening.  Pre-teens should never be allowed on chat sites without supervision. For older teens, parents should have the right to ask about browsing history and access to all passwords.  Traffickers and predators are masterful at deception and gaining a teen’s trust online first, before meeting in person.

4). Talk to your kids about sexual exploitation.

5). Know the warning signs of sexual abuse in younger children and teens, and recognize the warning signs of sexual exploitation.

6). Stay informed and up to date on the latest information.

  • This ministry coordinates, supports, and contributes annually to the children's home, both financially and physically with love and sincerity to meet the children's needs and wishes. The children's home is 97 years old and is in constant need of rehabilitation, supplies, and physical help for the 125-plus children, ranging in ages from infant to 17 years old, who are in dire situations.
  • We are always looking for volunteers to help with the Christmas Angel project and the "Day on Campus." This is a great way to give back to our community!
