Do you want to learn more, dig deeper into the Word?  Join us for one of our many classes we have to offer.  



    Interested in finding out more about what it means to be a member of First United Methodist Church of Clermont? We invite you to attend our new member class.  It is typically a 5-week class and a great opportunity for you to find out more about the life and ministry of our church. Childcare is available if needed.

  • advent bible study

    beginning november 28th

    "Faithful: Christmas Through the Eyes of Joseph" Advent Study based on the book by Adam Hamilton. Join us beginning November 28th for our Advent Bible Study in the Upper Room.  We will offer a 9am and 6pm study.  Books are $15.  You can CLICK HERE to register.  

  • Anxious for nothing

    Join us for a new Bible Study based on Max Lucado’s new book: Anxious for Nothing.  The 5 week study starting October 25th, will meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm in the Upper Room.  If you are interested in this new study please email or call the church office at 352-394-2412.  We will also have childcare available, if you would be in need of this please email our childcare coordinator, Lisa at  


  • Financial peace university (FPU)

    Financial Peace University (FPU) is a 9 lesson, money-management video course taught by America's most trusted financial guru, Dave RamseyDave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future and much more.

  • The Book of Exodus

    Let's dive into the word and study the book of Exodus.  Starting September 24th in the Wesley Center, downstairs Room 102 at 5pm. 

  • Men's bible study

    All men are invited to join us in a new book study starting back up September 27th in the Asbury House at 6:30pm.  We will be studying James MacDonald's "Act like Men" We meet week 2 & 4 of the month.
